Who's here don't like traveling? Me, like it very very much. But, for the record, I travel in Malaysia only, since I don't have any chance to go aboard. Hey, Malaysia also have a good good place to visit and travel. Still remember this song? "I come from Malaysia, jolly good place. 3x. Jolly jolly jolly good place." If you're a scout back then, you surely knew how the melody sounds. ;)
14 Jun 2009, Malacca
------------------------
I knew this was too far from the current date of your calendar, but this journey that I would like to share is the most HISTORICAL and FUN and JOY and UNFORGETABLE moment and bla bla bla... (the list of excitement continues...)
Basically, my unforgettable-Malacca-moment consist of many days in Malacca. I had 2 months of IT course there and we did visit Malacca during our weekends.
1. 13 female were took part in this trip. Ya, it is GIRLS-DAY-OUT ;)
2. We took Wira bus dan Tuah bus as transportation vehicle to the chosen place in Malacca. It only cost you RM2.60 one way per person from King Hotel to Melaka Central to Dataran Pahlawan. This cost only valid at that time, (note: please refer the exact date that above the entry ;) )
3. Our destinations are Menara Taming Sari, Muzium Samudera, Muzium Setem, Penjara, TLDM, Bandar Hilir, A’Famosa, Dataran Pahlawan, and not to mention;) Mahkota Parade.
We manage to take photos at the bus stop while waiting for the bus to arrive. Our first visit: Menara Taming Sari.
Payment rate: RM10 for adults, but you can save RM2 with student's card (RM8). Please note, again, I hate to remind that this rate is valid for that time only. I am not very sure if the rate is still the same or not ;)
We can rent a binocular for as low as RM3. The binocular can be used as a props to take pictures . You can used the binocular for viewing the beautiful panoramas around the Menara Taming Sari. It awesomeeeee ;)
I've told you, right?
You can used the binocular as props to take photos? The view from above is AWESOME?
We enjoyed the view at that time, as you can see in the above picture. Oh, the Operation Hours for Menara Taming Sari is from 10 am - 10 pm DAILY.
One thing that I do loveeee about Malacca is the 'beca' or tricycle. Very unique, traditional yet beautiful. Next destination, we went to Muzium Samudera.
You can walk from Menara Taming Sari to Muzium Samudera. Another way to cut your cost ;)
Entrance Rate: RM 3 for normal visitor, only RM 1 if you have student's card . It is very cheap right? So, don't forget to bring you student's pass if you go to the Museum. ;)
Oh, we were given a plastic bag so that your shoes or slippers can be put inside it. You must barefoot in this museum.
Alfonso de Albuquerque dan Hang Tuah. Note the action of me doing "I LOVE YOU, DID YOU FEEL THE SAME?" hahaha but, believe me. It is scary, with the replicas, the ancient history. Oh, You want to feel the scary-feeling? Just Visit There! ;)
Note the tricycle. Oh, also the welcoming 'poyo' pose in front of Muzium Setem. ;)
Next Destination: A'Famosa
Entrance Rate: Free of Charge
The effort to climb the stairs is admirable. It cannot be paid using money.
Our pose in front of A'Famosa. So sweet, right? Opps, this place is so sweet I mean.
Next Stop: Mahkota Parade
If you travel by bus or walking, please do bring 1Litre of mineral water. So exhausted, so thirsty, and the most important thing is we were so hungry at that time!!! But, as always, this trip is one of my beautiful moment. Although Malacca is historical, it also gave me a historical moment ;)
I have many pictures that I would like to share, but believe me, you will sick of it ;) So, skip this part if you don't want to end up vomiting ;)
The time we do bowling ;)
The time we do shopping and bought a popcorn for someone that too insist to eat MBO popcorn ;)
The time we were waiting for the bus ;)
The time we took our dinner
The time we had some fun, away from coding, away from test and exams. We were at Umbai, Malacca
